Ten Mile sits on the Watts Bar shoreline in northern Meigs County, an unincorporated community wrapped around coves and lake access roads. It is quiet, it is spread out, and it is a long way from anyone with a pump truck.

Separately, groundwater can enter the tank through cracks or a failed lid seal, filling it independently of anything the household does. Both produce backups; neither necessarily means the field is finished.
Sealing a tank is a repair. Regrading so surface water sheds away from the field rather than across it is cheap. Both are worth ruling out before anybody quotes a rebuild — and on a property this far out, a wrong diagnosis is expensive in wasted trips as well as wasted money.
